Borodin: In the Steppes of Central Asia – Musical picture USSR Symphony Orchestra Evgeny Svetlanov, conductor Rec. 1966 The musical picture “In Central Asia” was written in 1880 and premiered in St.Petersburg under Rimsky Korsakov’s baton that year.
