In summer 2014, thousands of people in more than 100 cities all over the world formed a V, standing for Vote, strong Will (Voluntat) and the democratic Way (Via) towards the independence of Catalonia as a new state in Europe. The international V was organised by the Catalan Foreign Assemblies together with the Casals Catalans and the Catalan community living abroad.
